Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Surat, India, is seeking an IT-OT Project Manager to bridge business requirements with technical solutions across production, quality and planning teams. You will coordinate with vendors, support IT-OT initiatives, and drive automation opportunities in a manufacturing context.

The role requires SDLC knowledge, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and strong analytical abilities to monitor KPIs through reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, planning and other teams to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Manage IT-OT projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Understand SDLC and ensure traceability of requirements throughout delivery.
• Coordinate with software/automation vendors to develop systems.
• Perform gap analyses and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training and change management activities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with IT-OT and cybersecurity standards.
• Wireframe and prototype UI/UX concepts using relevant tools.
• Understand manufacturing processes and systems (ERP, MES, WMS/Quality, etc.).
• Proficient in tools such as .NET, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, DevOps, Siemens WINCC, OPC.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies (IoT, digital twins, RPA, AI/ML).
• Knowledge of IT-OT infrastructure and security.
