Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a BE/BTech candidate to collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, and planning teams to document business requirements. You will translate needs into functional/technical specs for development and manage IT-OT projects using waterfall or agile methodologies, ensuring data integrity and cybersecurity compliance.

You will also craft UI/UX wireframes, develop dashboards in Power BI, and support UAT, training, and change management across manufacturing systems.

Job Description

Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, planning etc. cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams
• IT-OT project management with waterfall / agile methodologies
• Understanding of SDLC
• Deal with software/automation vendors and getting system developed
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with IT-OT and cybersecurity standards.
• Wireframing and prototyping using various tools to get clear UI/UX experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS/Quality systems etc.).
• Proficiency in tools such as .NET, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, DevOps, Siemens WINCC, OPC etc.
• Good at analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple tasks / projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies (IoT, predictive maintenance, digital twins/RPA/AI-ML etc.).
• Knowledge of IT-OT infrastructure and security.
