Job summary

Lever, Inc. in India is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead remote, full-time infrastructure initiatives from planning through completion.

You will own schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones while coordinating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders across the project lifecycle. You should have a bachelor’s degree in CS/IS, 7+ years of IT PM experience focused on infrastructure, and PM certifications (PMP/CAPM) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, deliverables, and budgets for IT infrastructure initiatives.
• Lead project execution and track progress against schedules to achieve milestones and deliverables on time.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, technology, and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers with mitigation and escalation as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with project teams, management, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee vendor relationships, performance monitoring, and contract-related discussions.
• Establish and oversee quality-control processes to meet requirements and standards.
• Prepare regular status reports and management communications on milestones, risks, budgets, and decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, decisions, outcomes, and lessons learned.
• Coordinate multiple priorities and ensure alignment with broader objectives.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager based in India.

This is a remote, full-time project management role focused on delivering critical IT infrastructure initiatives from planning through completion.
You will take ownership of project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and delivery milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
The role requires close collaboration with technical teams, leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will help translate business and infrastructure requirements into structured execution plans and measurable deliverables.
Strong stakeholder management and proactive risk resolution will be essential to keeping projects aligned and on track.
You will also oversee vendor performance, quality standards, project reporting, and documentation.

Accountabilities:

• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, deliverables, and budgets for IT infrastructure initiatives.

• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, technology, and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation based on project requirements.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential blockers, implementing mitigation plans and escalating matters when appropriate.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams, management, vendors, service providers, and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage vendor and service-provider relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, contract-related discussions, and service expectations.
• Establish and oversee project quality-control processes to ensure deliverables meet defined requirements, standards, and business expectations.
• Prepare regular project status reports, progress updates, and management communications covering milestones, risks, budgets, and key decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, processes, decisions, outcomes, and lessons learned.
• Coordinate multiple priorities and ensure project activities remain aligned with broader business and infrastructure objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's degree and/or professional certifications such as PMP or CAPM are highly desirable.
• At least 7 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure-related projects.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, databases, cloud services, and related enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and software used to plan, track, and report on project delivery.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities, including the ability to set expectations and communicate complex project information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, risk-management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing vendors and external service providers, including resolving delivery or performance issues.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration with distributed teams.
