Job summary

PolyPeptide Group is seeking an IT Client & Workplace Specialist in Ambernath, India, to provide 2nd level technical support for PC hardware/software across enterprise and manufacturing environments.

The role covers workplace services including printers, telephony, and conference room equipment, with emphasis on Intune and SCCM deployment, compliance, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years administering Microsoft Intune.
• 5+ years administering Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Confident in all aspects of Intune & SCCM, including deployment, compliance, troubleshooting, and application packaging & deployment.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, compliance, and reporting.
• Solid experience with Operating System Deployment (OSD) using SCCM/MDT.
• Strong grasp of enterprise device management, certificate-based authentication, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level technical support for PC hardware and software in enterprise and manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Support workplace services including printers, telephony systems, and conference room AV equipment; maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards; collaborate with 1st level support teams for escalated issues and timely resolution.
• Continuously transfer knowledge to the OPC.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Global IT/IS Team. As a global Workplace Specialist working with global computerized systems, you will have an operational focus when being involved in many parts of our business and need to navigate in an environment that has a high tempo and is changeable to be able to meet the high demands.

We are looking for a strong Workplace Specialist to provide second-level technical support for our Polypeptide Client PC environment, covering both enterprise and manufacturing computers and related equipment. This role may also include support for workplace services such as printing, telephony, and conference room equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd level technical support for PC hardware and software in enterprise and manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Support workplace services including printers, telephony systems, and conference room AV equipment. Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. Collaborate with 1 level support teams for escalated issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously work to transfer knowledge to our OPC.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years administering & supporting Microsoft Intune
• 5+ years administering & supporting Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Confident in all aspects of Intune & SCCM, including deployment, compliance, troubleshooting, and application packaging & deployment
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, compliance, and reporting
• Solid experience with Operating System Deployment (OSD) using SCCM/MDT
• Strong grasp of enterprise device management, certificate-based authentication, and automation

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with workplace services (print, telephony, AV equipment).
