Job summary

Cipla in India is seeking a technology solutions professional to identify, deliver and support IT solutions that align with the IT road map and meet business needs.

You will lead requirement gathering with business process experts, collaborate with architecture and operations, conduct UAT, coordinate vendor engagements, and ensure timely end-to-end project delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Graduate in IT / Computer Science stream OR Graduate in any field, with additional course / PG done in IT / Computer Science stream
• 4-6 years of technology/business function experience
• Should have managed at least 1 end to end IT solution implementation project

Responsibilities

• Identify, recommend and implement right technology solution by evaluation of requirements in line with IT road map to meet business requirements
• Design, recommend and monitor implementation of specific projects like improving forecast for the business within timelines and budget
• Provide business as usual support by debottlenecking issues related to business applications as per SLA & budget to enhance user experience
• Liaise with internal stakeholders like functions, including business units, information technology department, and external vendors to ensure right solutions are implemented in Cipla
• Manage vendors by day to day interactions and providing necessary support from Cipla's side for timely completion of projects and solutions

Education

Job description

Identify, deliver and support technology solutions to implement IT strategy and resolve business issues for respective functions to facilitate smooth and efficient business operations

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

Identify, recommend the right technology solution by evaluation of requirements in line with IT road map to meet business requirements

• Conduct requirement gathering session, by having discussions with business/ business process expert
• Provide proactive data insights to business to make them aware of risks and impact pertaining to the requirements functions to ensure feasible solution is arrived at
• Document the proposed solution on requirements to provide clarity on approach, assumptions taken to arrive at a particular solution for future reference
• Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards

Key Accountabilities (2/6)

Design, recommend and monitor implementation of specific projects like improving forecast for the business within timelines and budget

• Perform regular technical/ business issue resolutions from vendor or business side for smooth implementation during deployment phase
• Document the implementation solution and issue logs to capture detailed functional specifications
• Conduct user acceptance tests to ensure every business expectations related to the use of the solution is met by the user
• Oversee launch of new projects starting from requirement gathering to go live and ensure smooth and positive transition of the solution back to the business function

Key Accountabilities (3/6)

Provide business as usual support by debottlenecking issues related to business applications as per SLA & budget to enhance user experience

• Act as a single point of contact for all technology related issues for business applications for a particular function by communicating expected time of resolution
• Resolve transactional issues and iterations raised by business users and identify business/ technology solutions for fixing them

Liaise with all in internal stakeholders like functions, including business units, information technology department, and external vendors to ensure right solutions are implemented in Cipla

• Communicate and align business units, internal IT team and vendors on opportunities and risks
• Initiate periodic reviews with business representatives on prioritising the projects

Manage vendors by day to day interactions and providing necessary support from Cipla's side for timely completion of projects and solutions

• Conduct regularly performance reviews with the vendor to prioritize the project pipeline
• Provide inputs to the business partner lead on vendor performance to optimize cost and project timelines
