Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an IT infrastructure & application operations specialist for Manufacturing (i4.0) IT apps. You will deploy container-based apps, configure, and hotfix, and troubleshoot incidents across IT and manufacturing environments.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Linux, scripting, and DevOps tools is required. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and network teams, manage migrations, monitor performance,

Qualifications

• Kubernetes core concepts
• Containerization and Docker essentials
• Kubernetes, Istio Service mesh
• Linux - CLI and basic knowledge of various components (kernel, CPU, memory, disk, network)
• Scripting (Bash and YAML)
• Support for Kubernetes based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues
• Infrastructure automation and DevOps tools (Ansible/ Terraform/ Jenkins/ Argo CD)
• ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
• ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide IT infrastructure & Application operations for Manufacturing (i4.0) IT applications
• Perform Container based Application Deployments, Configurations and Hotfix installations
• Troubleshoot Manufacturing IT Application and infrastructure related incidents
• Close collaboration with Application development team, infrastructure team and Network team to provide day-to-day operations support for the application
• Onboarding Manufacturing IT application and implementing manufacturing plant specific configurations
• Perform Application and infrastructure Migrations
• Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI’s
• Monitor system performance and ensure Application availability
• Collaboration with onsite /offshore team and customer coordinators, Stakeholders Management, Technical documentation, and Training delivery
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction, Escalation Management in the Services Delivered and Continuous improvement of services
• Provide extended support for planned Maintenance and On-Call readiness support
• Should be able to work in shifts and travel to customer location for business need

Roles & Responsibilities :

Experience :

3-5 Years

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Kubernetes core concepts

Containerization and Docker essentials

Preferred Skills :

Application and infrastructure Monitoring tools (ICINGA / Grafana / ELK ) Working experience in Rancher

Network infrastructure – (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup and Security implementation)

Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / Mongo)

IoT / IT for Manufacturing - i4.0 concepts

Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies

ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification preferred
