Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Engineer for Production IT Support to manage IT security, MES integration, and line-zone issues. You will coordinate IT initiatives with plant teams and ensure MES stability across production lines.

The role requires 2–5 years in production IT, familiarity with ITIL practices, and strong scripting or C/C++ basics. Application involves working in shifts to maintain critical manufacturing IT readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B-Tech in CS/E&C with 2–5 years in production.
• Experience in Production IT support and MES environments.
• Knowledge of security standards and ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Consulting & rectification on IT software/hardware and security issues in Line Zone.
• Maintaining Production IT security with relevant tools and guidelines.
• Execution of MES packages in production areas and support for MES.
• Periodic updates of plant IT device inventory and documentation.
• Awareness training for associates (minimum 50 hours) and documentation.
• Weekly reporting of IT/MES/i4.0 issues with logs.

Regular Responsibilities

• Consulting & rectification on IT Software/Hardware and security issues in Line Zone
• Implementation the changes which are coming from CD04602
• Maintaining the Production IT Secure with relevant Tools and guild line from NhP1/MFD3
• Execution of respective MES packages in production areas and support for MES
• Support ECR & NPI MES release activity.
• Periodic Updating of Plant IT device inventory list, Documentation of IT activities
• Awareness training for associates and document it ( Minimum 50 man hours)
• Raising CI tickets for Critical Production IT issues, collaborate & follow up with CI until RC is found.
• Supporting TEF1, MOE-Q & MFD1 team on analysing the issues related to MES & IT.
• Regular execution of Production Clients HDD backup based on the tracking list.
• Weekly reporting of IT/MES/i4.0 issues in Production line with clear statements and log files.
• Reporting & Recording cyber security issues where ESCRYPT enterprise is involved.
• Monitoring of IT Infrastructure via available tools.
• Supporting on different shifts.
• performing regular virus scanning on production machines as per central guidelines and maintain secure network zone.

Periodic Responsibilities

Support Production IT Line Zone & Manufacture access Zone, and technically analyse the issue occur-ring in the IT devices and train users on better operational of devices in terms of usage & security. Moni-tor and report 100% availability of the IT devices used to produce parts in Production area. Implementa-tion & Adherence to security class of the IT devices as per Bosch Standards (CD 04602) & Internal Loca-tion Concept.

Occasional Responsibilities

• Support and preparing documentation for IT Audits
• Handling Customer complaint and implement measures to minimize the downtime.
• Attending trainings

Diploma or BE/B-Tech: CS / E&C, Equivalent Degree with 2 to 5 Years of Experience in Production environement.

Technical Skills

ITIL-4 Foundation Certification, Short scripting & Coding, C & C++ commands, Basic knowledge of SQL.
