Jaljeevika Infotech Pvt Ltd in Pune, India is seeking a software engineer to design, build and scale web applications, APIs and data integrations used by field teams and communities. You will work across SQL/NoSQL data models and implement scalable backend services.

Competenze

• Proficiency with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience scaling web apps and managing VM infrastructure on a cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Linux server administration.
• Proficiency in at least one backend stack (Node.js, PHP, Python) and strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and containers (Docker) is an advantage.
• A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of software development, IT support or digital platform work.
• Interest in building technology for rural communities.

You will build and scale the digital tools that carry Jaljeevika's work to field teams and aquatic farmers, and keep them reliable as more people use them.

What we are looking for
