Josh Software is seeking an IT support and security-focused professional to manage device governance, network setup, VPNs, MFA, and security compliance across hybrid and remote work environments.

The role involves proactive IT maintenance, data protection practices, and coordinating with vendors to ensure secure and reliable technology solutions for our teams in Pune and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT support, network administration, device governance and infrastructure security.
• College degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with RBAC, DLP, data backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience configuring VPNs, firewalls and endpoint protection.

Must Have

• Hardware – laptop, printer, maintenance and complete Device Governance (provisioning, asset tracking, full-disk encryption like BitLocker/FileVault, System Hardening, MDM administration and remote wiping).
• Providing IT Support/ maintenance to end users across hybrid and remote work setups.
• Router, Access control setup and network infrastructure configuration
• VPN setups as per project requirements (including secure remote access and client configurations).
• Administering Firewall and managing security, including perimeter controls, access policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Antivirus Management, endpoint protection (EDR) and routine patch management.
• Data Governance & Protection, including implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) practices and maintaining secure data backup & disaster recovery protocols.
• Security & Compliance, ensuring IT systems adhere to regulatory standards and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DPDP) and assisting with security audits.
• Troubleshooting IT-related issues and providing resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
• Zoom, G Suite, MS Office Suite Handling (Email ID creation, updating, deletion, distribution lists and access permissions management).
• Biometric Access Control Setup and Monitoring

Nice to Have:

• Coordination with IT vendors for technical support, procurement, hardware maintenance and SLA tracking.
• Relevant industry/security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Network+).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good Team Player.

Qualifications

• A college degree (preferably in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field).
• A 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, network administration, device governance and infrastructure security.
