Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Junior System Administrator for its Bangalore location. The role requires full-time, on-site work with night shift prospects and immediate to 15 days NP. You will manage PCs, monitor networks, apply OS updates, and enforce security policies, including firewalls/VPN/IDS.

Prior experience with Office 365 and Azure AD is beneficial. The position emphasizes IT support, SLA management, and coordination with international centers as an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network security including firewalls and VPN.
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure AD management.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and SLA management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the assets of PCs and laptops.
• Monitor network communication.
• Apply operating system updates, patches and configure security.
• Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance.
• Setup security policy for users including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Maintain internal infrastructure including LANs/WANs and network segments.
• Office 365 administration like Azure AD user creation, license assignment, group IDs and permissions.
• Understand how ticketing tools work.
• Manage SLA for tickets and prepare management reports on service improvements.
• Experience in implementing network security solutions including firewall, VPN, IDS, IPS.
• Experience in Windows installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and Microsoft apps.

Job Summary:

• 1. Maintain the assets of pc's and laptop.
• 2. Monitor network communication.
• 3. Apply operating system updates, patches and make configuration changes to tighten security.
• 4. Troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performance.
• 5. Setup security policy for users. Say firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• 6. Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop, desktops, internet, intranet, LANs WANs and network segments.
• 7. Office 365 administration like user creation in Azure AD, License assigning, group id creation and providing permission.
• 8. Should know how ticketing tools will work.
• 9. Manage SLA for all the tickets and preparing a document to the management on how we can improve better in support services.
• 10. Experience in Implementing Network Security Solutions including Firewall, VPN, IDS, and IPS.
• 11. Experience in installation of Windows, configuration, technical troubleshooting, operating systems, Microsoft application software and peripherals.
• 12. Having experience in working in international centers is an added advantage
