Fidelity Information Services, LLC in Bangalore is seeking an AS400 Operations Administrator to manage IBM i systems, monitor performance, and support backups and DR activities. The role requires 2–4 years of IBM i experience and readiness to work a 24x7 shift.

You will develop procedures, ensure availability, and maintain system documentation while collaborating with a global fintech team.

• 2–4 years of experience in IBM i (iSeries/AS400) operations administration.
• Strong experience in managing IBM iSeries environments.
• Disaster recovery planning and execution experience.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 shift.

About the role

As an AS400 Operations Administrator, you will support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of IBM i (AS400) systems. You will help maintain system availability, reliability and performance while monitoring the environment, resolving technical issues and supporting backup and recovery activities.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of IBM i (AS400) systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures and compliance records.
• Support stable and efficient system operations by identifying and addressing performance or operational issues.

What you bring

• 2 - 4 years of experience in IBM i (iSeries/AS400) operations administration.
• AS400 Administration: Strong experience in managing IBM iSeries environments.
• Backup Recovery: Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Hardware Software Installation: Skilled in configuring and maintaining AS400 hardware/software.
• IBM iSeries Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IBM i OS and related technologies.
• Should be willing to work in 24X7 Shift
