Job summary

Intel Corporation in Bengaluru, India, seeks an IP Design Verification Engineer to ensure functional quality of advanced IP designs for silicon products. You will design and execute verification plans, build test benches, and collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams.

The role requires strong SystemVerilog and UVM/OVM skills, proficiency in Perl or Python, and hands-on AMBA protocol experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, 4+ years with a Master's, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Strong coding skills in Perl or Python.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM/OVM.
• Hands-on experience with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Proven ability to design and implement verification test environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure designs meet specification requirements.
• Develop and execute IP verification plans, test benches, and environments to confirm compliance with microarchitecture specifications.
• Define and run system simulation models to verify designs, analyze power and timing, and identify bugs.
• Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment and implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
• Document test plans and spearhead technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
• Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.
• Participate in defining verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.

• Exposure to power-aware verification and knowledge of PCIe protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
