Job summary

Alstef Group in Pune, Maharashtra seeks a skilled Material Receiving professional to manage day-to-day inward material reception, verify POs, invoices and delivery challans, and ensure GRN accuracy. You will coordinate with QC, Stores, Procurement, and supplier teams to move materials efficiently and maintain proper records.

Key tasks include tagging and storing materials, supporting inventory accuracy, and ensuring documentation aligns with store and material handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in material inward/receiving and stores operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or project-based organizations.
• Good understanding of PO, Invoice, Delivery Challan and GRN processes.
• Knowledge of inventory and material management processes.
• Experience coordinating with QC, Procurement, Stores and suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP is preferred.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple material receipts and coordinate with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation and system updates for all inward transactions.

Preferred candidate profile

• 36 years of relevant experience in inward/material receiving/stores operations.
• Engineering background preferred Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Candidates from Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Engineering, Material Handling, Project Manufacturing or similar industries preferred.
• Experience in handling inward materials in a project/manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Candidates with practical knowledge of GRN, PO verification, material inspection and inventory processes preferred.
