Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Chennai invites an entry-level Invoice & Documentation Analyst to support MEA region invoicing for Flow Controls. You will handle invoice generation, submission, and alignment with contracts, while coordinating with logistics to ensure timely delivery.

You will use basic data analytics tools and Excel-like capabilities, with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and clear communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BBA/Commerce or Accounting.
• Strong administration and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Power Apps, Power BI, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Handle MEA region invoice generation and submission for Flow Controls key customers.
• Review contracts and orders from LBP/Sales and ensure invoices align.
• Load and manage invoices into customer financial sites.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse to ensure delivery per INCO-terms.
• Review Shipping documentation and submit with invoices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Invoice Management

• Assume responsibility for MEA Region invoice generation and submission for all of Flow Controls key customers.
• Review contracts & orders received from LBP/Sales and ensure the invoices are aligned.
• Load & manage invoices into customer financial sites.
• Co-ordinate with the Logistics and Warehouse team to ensure the shipment has been delivered as per the INCO- terms.
• Review documentation provided by Shipping Team and submit to customer if required, along with the invoice.
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Line Manager.

Documentation

• Ensure that necessary docs of invoice and supporting documents are submitted to customer.
• Ensure necessary records are kept of the invoice submission.

Dispute Resolution

• Resolve issue with payment collection discrepancy and work collaboratively with Finance, Sales and Local Business Partner/Customer.

Quality

• Make recommendations to eliminate non-value-added activities.
