Job Description Inventory Manager (CCTV Department)

Job Title: Inventory Manager
Department: CCTV / Surveillance

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to manage the inventory and warehouse operations of our CCTV & Surveillance business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, planning inventory, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials for projects and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inventory operations for CCTV products and accessories.
• Maintain accurate stock records using ERP or Inventory Management Software.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and Warehouse teams for material planning.
• Handle inward and outward material movement, GRN, stock transfers, and dispatches.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly physical stock audits.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of electronic equipment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies and warehouse safety standards.
• Manage vendor returns (RMA), damaged stock, and warranty replacements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Experience with CCTV products such as IP Cameras, Analog Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PoE Switches, Network Switches, Routers, Hard Disks, SMPS, Power Supplies, Cables, Connectors, Racks, and Accessories.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, Zoho Inventory, or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of GRN, Material Issue, Stock Reconciliation, Cycle Count, and Inventory Audits.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in CCTV, Security Systems, Electronics, IT Hardware, Networking, Telecom, or System Integration industries will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 4–8 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
• Experience handling electronic or CCTV inventory.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning, warehouse processes, and stock control.
• Able to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
