Job summary

Chheda Specialities Food Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Inventory Controller Executive to manage inventory operations, ensure stock accuracy, and maintain warehouse controls. The role requires a detail-oriented candidate with 2+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in food manufacturing.

The position is onsite in Kandivali West, Mumbai, with travel for monthly stock takes at multiple locations as needed. Prior exposure to FMCG or consumer products is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in FMCG or Consumer Products is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate inventory management across warehouses and storage locations.
• Conduct stock reconciliation and ensure timely closure of inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and control warehouse damages, shortages, and inventory variances.
• Track expiry and near-expiry inventory and coordinate timely action to minimize losses.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate monthly physical stock audits at multiple warehouse locations.
• Investigate inventory mismatches and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Work with warehouse, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support process improvements to enhance inventory control and operational efficiency.

About the Role

Chheda Specialities Food Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller Executive to manage inventory operations, ensure stock accuracy, and maintain effective warehouse controls. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in inventory management within the food manufacturing industry. Experience in FMCG or consumer products will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate inventory management across warehouses and storage locations.
• Conduct stock reconciliation and ensure timely closure of inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and control warehouse damages, shortages, and inventory variances.
• Track expiry and near-expiry inventory and coordinate timely action to minimize losses.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and operational procedures.
• Coordinate and participate in monthly physical stock audits at multiple warehouse locations.
• Investigate inventory mismatches and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth material flow.
• Support process improvements to enhance inventory control and operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Prior experience in Food Manufacturing is mandatory.
• Experience in FMCG or Consumer Products industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation, stock audits, warehouse controls, and inventory reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar ERP) is preferred.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Travel Requirement

• Must be open to travelling for monthly stock-taking activities at multiple warehouse locations as required.
