Job summary

iVenus in Ahmedabad and Pune seeks an Inventory Auditor to conduct periodic and surprise stock audits across stores and warehouses, reconcile stock with ERP/POS records, and identify variances.

The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills, with willingness to travel extensively to multiple locations and prepare clear audit reports. You will support corrective actions and verify serial numbers on high-value items, guiding store teams on inventory practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Inventory Audit / Stock Audit / Retail Audit / Inventory Control.
• Good knowledge of inventory reconciliation and retail processes.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP and POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic and surprise stock audits across assigned retail stores and warehouses.
• Perform physical stock counts and reconcile stock with ERP/POS records.
• Identify stock shortages, excess, damages, and inventory variances.
• Verify GRN, STN, stock transfers, returns, and inter-store movements.
• Audit billing, sales returns, exchanges, and inventory adjustments.
• Verify serial numbers/IMEI of high-value electronics and fast-moving products.
• Monitor shrinkage, pilferage, and suspicious stock transactions.
• Ensure compliance with inventory SOPs, tagging, storage, and stock handling processes.
• Prepare audit reports, variance analysis, and highlight key observations.
• Follow up with stores for closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
• Support investigations related to theft, fraud, and stock loss.
• Guide store teams on proper stock handling, counting, and inventory practices.
• Travel extensively across assigned store locations.
