Job description

Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts.Compare physical inventory with system records and investigate variances.Identify causes of stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and damages.Review inventory movement, stock aging, and valuation.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.Coordinate with warehouse, stores, and finance teams to resolve issues.Monitor stock handling, storage, and documentation practices.Support internal and external audit requirements when needed.Assist in improving inventory control systems and processes.
