Job summary

Greythr is seeking a Stock Audit Executive / Inventory Auditor to verify physical stock at a distributor warehouse on-site and align it with ERP records. You will report variances, maintain GRNs, and monitor stock integrity to prevent losses.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Inventory Verification (Stocktaking)

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts (Wall-to-wall or cycle counts).
• Compare physical stock levels with system records (ERP, Tally, or Sales Apps).
• Identify and report discrepancies (shortages, excesses, or damage) immediately.

Audit Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, variances, and root causes.
• Maintain accurate records of GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and stock transfers.
• Track and manage the inventory of damaged, near-expiry, or slow-moving goods.

Reconciliation & Process Control

• Reconcile physical stock with book stock and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure that all returned goods from channel partners (retailers) are properly recorded and accounted for.
• Verify that stock movement (inwarding and outwarding) adheres to company policies (FIFO/FEFO).
• Monitor stock for potential theft, pilferage, or wastage.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse internal controls.
• Ensure all warehouse team members adhere to Inventory Management SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
