KalKey is seeking a hands-on IoT Engineer to join our technology team and develop connected-device solutions in India. You will design, implement, test, and deploy IoT-based systems with sensors, microcontrollers, and cloud integration.
Responsibilities include hardware-software integration, prototyping, debugging, and collaborating with software, hardware, and product teams to deliver reliable IoT platforms. Fresh graduates with strong project work are welcome.
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on IoT Engineer to join our technology team and work on innovative connected-device solutions.
Candidates with practical knowledge or experience in Robotics, Embedded Systems, Automation, and Hardware Integration will be preferred.
Design, develop, test, and deploy IoT-based systems and connected devices.
Work with sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, communication modules, and embedded hardware.
Develop and integrate solutions using platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, or similar technologies.
Work with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, LoRa/LoRaWAN, and related technologies.
Develop firmware and software required for device communication and control.
Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms, APIs, dashboards, and databases.
Handle hardware-software integration, prototyping, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Develop automation solutions involving sensors, motors, controllers, and real-time data.
Participate in the design and development of robotics and automation projects.
Maintain technical documentation, circuit diagrams, device configurations, and project records.
Collaborate with software, hardware, product, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Strong understanding of IoT architecture and embedded systems
Programming knowledge in C/C++, Python, or related languages
Experience working with microcontrollers and development boards
Understanding of electronic circuits, sensors, actuators, and communication modules
Knowledge of APIs, databases, and cloud-based IoT platforms
Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues
Familiarity with PCB design, electronics prototyping, or circuit simulation will be an advantage
Knowledge of Linux and Git will be beneficial
B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IoT, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
Freshers with strong practical project experience may also apply
Previous professional experience in IoT, embedded systems, robotics, or automation will be an advantage
