Zoho is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to bridge customer requirements with engineering expertise and business growth. You will translate applications into automation solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You will collaborate with sales teams, analyze machine applications, and provide technical feasibility assessments while supporting opportunity qualification and solution selling. This role involves travel and close customer interaction.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Sales Engineers and customers to develop innovative automation solutions.
• Analyze machine applications and recommend optimal Servo Drives, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and Motion Control configurations.
• Perform product sizing, selection, configuration, and technical feasibility analysis.
• Create compelling technical proposals and customer presentations.
• Support opportunity qualification and value-based solution selling.
• Collaborate with global application experts to solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and site visits.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support opportunity management activities.

As an Inside Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the critical link between customer requirements, engineering expertise, and business success. Your solutions will help customers build smarter, more efficient, and future‑ready machines while contributing

directly to growth.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Sales Engineers and customers to develop innovative automation solutions.
• Analyze machine applications and recommend the optimal combination of Servo Systems, VFDs, PLCs, Motion Controllers, and Geared Motors.
• Perform product selection, sizing, configuration, and technical feasibility analysis.
• Create compelling technical proposals, solution concepts, and customer presentations.
• Support opportunity qualification and value-based solution selling.
• Collaborate with global application experts to solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations, and site visits.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support opportunity management activities

Who We're Looking For

Education : Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation,Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.
• Experience with OEMs, Machine Builders, System Integrators, or Industrial End Users.
• Exposure to Packaging, FMCG, Converting, Printing, Textile, Robotics, Material Handling, General Motion, or Process Automation industries is highly desirable

Preferred Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Servo Drives, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Motion Control Systems, and Industrial Communication Networks.
• Experience with product sizing, selection, and configuration tools.
• Familiarity with SAP, CRM platforms, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of technical sales, quotations, and solution-selling methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
