Responsibilities

• Capitalize fixed assets in ERP system upon acquisition completion.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely capitalization of assets.
• Prepare audits related to fixed assets.
• Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation across group entities.
• Verify bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare schedules for financial close including prepayments and accruals.
• Assist in statutory audits by preparing audit schedules.

Job description

What You Will Be Doing

• Capitalization of fixed assets in the ERP system upon completion of asset acquisition, including verification and review of supporting documentation (invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and approval records)
• Coordination with procurement and project teams for timely capitalization and proper asset tagging.
• Preparation of schedules and workings for audit purposes related to fixed assets.
• Performing monthly intercompany reconciliation across group entities to identify and resolve mismatches in a timely manner.
• Verification of BRS on a periodic basis to ensure completeness and accuracy of bank balances as per books vs. bank statements.
• Preparation of various supporting schedules for monthly and quarterly financial close, including prepayments, accruals, provisions, fixed assets, and other balance sheet items.
• Assisting in statutory audits under local GAAP by preparing and furnishing audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation as requested by auditors.

Qualifications

Completed 1 year of Articleship.
