Job summary

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) invites a motivated Hospitality graduate to join as an internship coordinator for the WISE HHM programs. The role emphasizes student counselling, admissions support, and on‑the‑job program coordination.

You will interact with prospective students and parents, explain offerings, assist with the admission journey and onboarding, and maintain CRM records, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth conversions.

The candidate will be responsible for driving student enrolment, counselling, engagement, and program coordination for MSU WISE’s Hospitality, Hotel Management & Tourism programs. The role will involve interacting with prospective students and parents, understanding their career aspirations, explaining program offerings, and supporting students throughout the admission and onboarding journey. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a student-centric approach, and an understanding of the hospitality/hotel management education or training ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counselling & Admissions

• Counsel prospective students and parents on HHM programs, eligibility, career opportunities, fee structure and program benefits.
• Understand students’ career aspirations and recommend suitable WISE programs.
• Handle enquiries through calls, walk-ins, digital leads, events, and other admission channels.
• Follow up with prospective students to convert enquiries into applications and enrolments.
• Assist students with the complete admission process, including documentation and onboarding.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with applicants to ensure timely fee payment and joining.
• Promote MSU WISE HHM programs among students, schools, colleges, training institutes, and other relevant channels.
• Participate in career counselling sessions, seminars, education fairs, school/college visits, and admission campaigns.
• Develop relationships with schools, colleges, hospitality institutes, career counsellors, and other stakeholders for student outreach.
• Support digital and offline campaigns by providing relevant program information and student insights.

3. Student Engagement & Support

• Act as a key point of contact for students during the admission and initial onboarding process.
• Address student queries related to academics, program structure, industry exposure, internships, apprenticeships, and career pathways.
• Coordinate with academic, operations, placement, and other internal teams to resolve student concerns.
• Maintain regular engagement with enrolled students to improve retention and overall student experience.

4. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling interactions, applications, admissions, and student status.
• Update CRM/ERP and other designated systems on a timely basis.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on lead generation, counselling, conversion, and enrolment.
• Track admission funnel performance and identify opportunities for improving conversions.

Job Type -Internship for 6 months

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Graduate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Hotel Management/Hospitality education, vocational education, skill development, or work-integrated learning programs will be preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong student counselling and relationship-management abilities.
• Good understanding of hospitality, hotel management, tourism, and related career opportunities.
• Strong follow-up and conversion skills.
• Ability to conduct presentations and counselling sessions.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM/ERP systems.
• Ability to work with targets and manage multiple student enquiries simultaneously.
