Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Public Relations Executive to support the organization's media relations, corporate communications, content development, event publicity, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing skills, excellent coordination abilities, and the capability to manage multiple communication projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations & Communications

• Pro-actively find and distill insights from a multitude of research and be able to convert that into stories that resonate with stakeholders that matter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bengali/Nepali will be an added advantage.
• Draft compelling content that is relevant and relatable for press releases, media pitches, press notes, and communication materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, and industry publications.
• Coordinate media interactions, interviews, and leadership engagements with support from the PR agency
• Monitor media coverage and maintain media databases and contact lists.
• Support thought leadership initiatives through content and proactive ideation and thinking
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communication decks for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Events & Publicity

• Support communication and publicity activities for conferences, seminars, industry events, MoUsignings, award ceremonies, and institutional initiatives.
• Prepare event communication materials including invitations, media advisories, press kits, eventbriefs, and post-event releases.
• Coordinate media participation, content capture, and post-event coverage reporting with support from the PR agency

3. Awards & Institutional Visibility

• Identify relevant awards, rankings, and recognition opportunities.
• Draft nomination entries and coordinate submission requirements.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and institutional reputation.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with internal departments, external agencies, design teams, and other stakeholders for timely execution of communication projects.
• Track communication activities, maintain documentation, and prepare periodic reports on media coverage and PR outcomes.
• Manage communication calendars, project trackers, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mass communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• 13 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, or Content Development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong content writing, editing, and presentation development abilities.
• Good organizational, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools.
