Job summary

Ajit Developers invites applications for an Interior Design Intern / Junior Interior Designer to assist in developing concepts, preparing 2D floor plans, 3D models and mood boards. You will collaborate with architects, vendors and site teams to ensure designs align with approved concepts and drawings.

The role welcomes fresh graduates or current students pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related fields, with a solid understanding of space planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a relevant field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Understand space planning, design concepts, materials, furniture, finishes and basic interior execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts and layouts.
• Prepare 2D floor plans, furniture layouts and space planning.
• Assist in creating 3D models and interior visualizations.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards and design presentations.
• Assist in selection of furniture, finishes, tiles, flooring, lighting and materials.
• Prepare working drawings and basic detailing.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, vendors and site teams.
• Visit project sites and assist with site measurements.
• Support execution of interior design works at site.
• Assist in preparing BOQ and material quantity requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required.
• Track design changes and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure designs are executed as per approved concepts and drawings.
• Support the senior interior designer in day-to-day design activities.
