Smart Homes in Pune is seeking an Interior Designer to conceptualize interiors that integrate cutting-edge home automation technologies. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver customized, future-ready spaces.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of interior design experience, with AutoCAD proficiency and a keen eye for lighting and luxury aesthetics. This full-time role requires onsite presence at Viman Nagar, Pune.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably with tech-integrated spaces.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and related interior design software.
• Basic understanding of lighting design; ability to learn more through training.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with premium clients.
• MS Office proficiency and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• A valid 2-wheeler is mandatory for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Create ELV AutoCAD drawings and decorative lighting plans for smart home environments.
• Design integrated home theater automation layouts that complement interiors.
• Engage with premium clients to understand lifestyle preferences and functional requirements.
• Develop high-end design concepts that embody luxury and modern living.
• Curate finishes for lighting, speakers, keypads, and automation interfaces.
• Coordinate with architects, external interior designers and MEP consultants.
• Oversee project implementation, including timelines, budgeting, and procurement.
• Gain exposure to luxury lighting and automation brands and technologies.

Role Overview

As an Interior Designer at Smart Homes, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing and executing interiors that integrate cutting-edge home automation technologies. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver customized and future-forward interiors.

• CreateELV AutoCAD drawingsanddecorative lighting planstailored for smart home environments.

• Engage directly with ourpremium clienteleto understand their lifestyle preferences and functional requirements.


• Develop innovative, high-end design concepts that embody luxury and modern living.


• Curate finishes fordecorative lighting, speakers, keypads, and automation interfacesto align with the overall design vision.


• Coordinate witharchitects, external interior designers and MEP consultantsto address design challenges and ensure flawless execution.


• Overseeproject implementation, including timelines, budgeting, and procurement.


• Gain exposure to the luxury segment oflighting and automation, working with leading brands and technologies.


• Collaborate with internal teams on related services includingCCTV and AV integrationfor a holistic design experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree inInterior Design, Architecture, or related field.


• 3 yearsof experience in interior design, preferably with tech-integrated spaces.


• Working knowledge ofAutoCADand other interior design software tools.


• Basic understanding oflighting design in respect of illumination, we would like to provide training related to it.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills as you are dealing with our premium clientele directly.


• Proficiency inMS Office tools.


• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.


• A2-wheeler is mandatoryfor site visits.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to smarthome technologies, lighting designsand system design as well.


• Familiarity withAV, CCTV or lighting automationconcepts.


• Experience handlingsite executionor working with tech-driven interior projects.
