Job summary

Cavallo Home in Pune, India, is seeking an Interior Designer to work full-time on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. You will develop design concepts, mood boards, select materials, and coordinate FF&E for bespoke luxury interiors, both residential and commercial.

You will produce detailed drawings, collaborate with architects, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurate and timely, and conduct site visits to maintain quality and alignment with the brand’s luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience in luxury/high-end residential or commercial projects preferred.
• Strong skills in interior design and space planning, with refined layouts.
• Ability to produce and interpret detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar drafting tools.
• Excellent client communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design high-end residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing mood boards and presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E for bespoke furniture and modular solutions. The role involves creating detailed drawings and layouts, working closely with architects, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately and within timelines. The Interior Designer will conduct site visits, oversee installation quality, and address design-related issues during execution. This position also requires staying current with design trends, maintaining project documentation, and contributing to a consistent luxury brand experience.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with experience creating functional and aesthetically refined layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to produce and interpret detailed technical documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection and coordination, with an understanding of luxury materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Candidates should possess strong client communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in luxury or high-end residential/commercial projects is highly beneficial.
