Job summary

Spacioworks is seeking an on-site Interior Designer in Chennai to develop design concepts for luxury residential and commercial spaces. You will handle inbound client inquiries, collect floor plans, and guide clients through consultations while creating mood boards and layouts.

You will coordinate materials, finishes, and FF&E specifications, prepare detailed drawings, and participate in design presentations.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and space planning skills to create functional, aesthetically refined layouts.
• Architecture and construction drawings skills to develop detailed plans and coordinate with project teams.
• FF&E skills including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software and comfort with technology-driven workflows.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management with attention to detail and time management.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field with prior experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee execution to deliver premium spaces.

Role Description :

The Interior Designer will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and project teams to develop design concepts for residential and commercial spaces. The role includes handling inbound client enquiries, connecting with leads, collecting floor plans and project requirements, and guiding clients through the initial consultation process. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating mood boards, space plans, and interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E specifications aligned with project requirements and budgets, and preparing detailed drawings and documentation for execution. The Interior Designer will participate in design presentations, attend site visits, coordinate with vendors, and work closely with project managers and architects to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining design quality. Regular interaction with digital tools and visualization platforms is expected to communicate ideas and refine designs efficiently.
