Job summary

603 The Coworking Space India in Mumbai is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to design and plan dynamic coworking spaces. You will develop layouts, select materials, and establish the aesthetic direction in line with the brand.

You will create space plans, concepts, mood boards, and coordinate FF&E with architects, contractors, and vendors, ensuring timely, safe, and compliant execution while enhancing usability and member experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
• Experience in commercial or coworking interiors is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate on-site in Mumbai.

The coworking spaces are designed for modern professionals, offering hot desks, dedicated desks, and private offices. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and planning coworking spaces, including layout development, material selection, and overall aesthetic direction aligned with the brand. Day-to-day tasks include creating space plans, preparing design concepts and mood boards, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution. The role involves producing construction drawings and documentation, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, ergonomic, and functional standards. The Interior Designer will also work closely with the operations and community teams to optimize spaces for usability, flexibility, and member experience.

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetic coworking environments.


• Candidates should possess Architecture knowledge and Construction Drawings expertise to develop detailed plans and documentation for execution.


• Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design intent and budget.


• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.


• Strong visualization, creativity, and attention to detail, with the ability to balance design quality and cost-efficiency.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.


• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in commercial or coworking interiors is an advantage.
