Job summary

TripCiti in Pune is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to design and enhance travel-related spaces for offices, customer service areas, and partner properties. The role centers on developing concepts, layouts, and material selections to ensure brand-aligned experiences.

You will coordinate FF&E, prepare construction drawings, and oversee on-site implementation, working with vendors and internal teams to maintain high design quality.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Interior Designer at TripCiti will be responsible for designing and enhancing travel-related spaces, including offices, customer service areas, and partner properties aligned with TripCiti’s brand and guest experience standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, creating layout plans, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to ensure functional, aesthetically pleasing environments. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, preparing construction drawings, and overseeing implementation to maintain design quality and consistency. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division, requiring regular coordination with local stakeholders and occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, engaging environments.


• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop detailed plans and support project execution.


• Candidates should possess FF&E expertise to select and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design concepts and budget.


• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.


• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).


• Strong visual communication abilities, including mood boards, presentations, and material boards.


• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects on-site.


• Experience collaborating with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams; prior work on hospitality or commercial spaces is an advantage.
