Job summary

Decoimagination, based in Kolkata, is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to prepare layouts and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. You will lead space planning and coordinate with architects, managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized during execution.

The role also involves supporting client presentations, gathering feedback, and refining designs to align with the studio’s design standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and space planning skills for functional layouts.
• Architecture and construction drawings skills for clear plans and details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar, plus presentation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients, consultants, and on-site teams.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design with residential/commercial experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and project organization for high-quality execution.

Role Description

This is a full-time, Cad drafting role based in Kolkata. The Interior Designer will be responsible for preparing Layout , detailed drawings and layouts for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. Daily tasks include space planning and collaborating with architects, Managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized during execution. The Interior Designer will also support client presentations, gather feedback, and refine designs to align with client needs and the studio’s design standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to develop functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to produce clear, accurate plans and technical details for execution.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign).
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, consultants, and on-site teams.
• Candidates should possess a relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design with experience in residential or commercial projects preferred.
