Role Description

The Interior Architect will be responsible for planning and designing interior spaces, ensuring that layouts are functional, aesthetically aligned with client requirements, and compliant with applicable standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients and vendors, and overseeing interior fit-out activities from concept to completion. The role involves collaborating with project teams, conducting site visits, selecting materials and finishes, and monitoring project progress to maintain design integrity and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular presence at client sites and the office for meetings, design reviews, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create efficient, user-centered layouts and cohesive design solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Architecture and Interior Architecture skills to integrate structural considerations with interior concepts and technical detailing.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Interior Fit-out to manage execution, coordinate contractors, and ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) and familiarity with building codes and standards.
• Strong communication, client-facing, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders.
