Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services seeks an experienced interior design professional to translate client briefs into refined spatial layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visual concepts reflecting modern interior movements. You will supervise on-site execution across trades, review technical drawings, specify materials, and coordinate with vendors to ensure design intent and quality.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design/architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of interior design with on-site execution.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary interior trends and lighting design.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Contemporary Design & Concept Development: Translate client briefs into refined spatial layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visual concepts reflecting current global and modern interior design movements.
• Advanced Detailing & Technical Specifications: Produce and review technical drawings integrating joinery systems, acoustic solutions, concealed architectural lighting, seamless drywall/cladding details, and smart home automation provisions.
• Material Curation & Sourcing: Research, select, and source advanced materials, sustainable composites, engineered surfaces, architectural hardware, bespoke finishes, and lighting fixtures; coordinate sampling and vendor mock-ups.
• On-Site Supervision & Quality Control: Lead active site execution to verify that civil, carpentry, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works strictly conform to approved GFC drawings, tolerances, and design intent.
• Snagging & Practical Completion: Perform comprehensive phase-wise quality audits and snag lists; oversee rectifications to deliver immaculate handover standards.

Technical Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience balancing creative design development with active field/site execution.
• Design & Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of contemporary interior trends, ergonomic principles, architectural lighting design, bespoke millwork, and advanced construction methodologies (drywall partitions, shadow-gap details, flush/frameless doors, microtopping/seamless flooring).
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and modern rendering engines (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray,or Lumion); working knowledge of presentation tools (Photoshop/InDesign) and MS Excel/Sheets for site trackers and BOQs.
• Field & Execution Acumen: Strong capability to interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings on site, diagnose real-time execution challenges, and enforce tight dimensional tolerances.
• Communication & Collaboration: Clear, assertive site leadership, vendor negotiation, and effective client presentation skills.
