Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept through completion, including development and execution.
• Prepare and present design proposals to higher management and incorporate feedback.
• Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material palettes.
• Prepare and review space plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Review shop drawings and samples and approve them for fabrication.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolutions with teams.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritise deliverables per schedule.
• Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions and design records.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate the design team.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer with 8+ years of professional experience to lead and execute interior design projects from concept development through completion. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in space planning, design development, material selection, working drawings, 3D visualization, project coordination, and site execution. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining design quality while ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept CD to completion – GFC /EXECUTION, including design development and execution.
• Prepare and present design proposals to HIGHER MANAGEMENT and incorporate feedback appropriately.
• Develop creative and practical interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and presentations.
• Prepare and review space plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, fabrics, and accessories.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and samples submitted by contractors and vendors.
• Identify design or execution issues at site and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables according to project schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure materials and furniture are sourced as per approved specifications.
• Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, material specifications, and design records.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and coordinate the work of the design team.
• Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, technologies, and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in interior design.
• Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, or corporate interiors.
