Job summary

DBM Consultants seeks an experienced Interior Architect to take ownership of producing comprehensive GFC drawing sets and detailed architectural/interior drawings for projects in Mumbai. You will draft plans, elevations, sections, ceilings, and millwork detailing while developing MEP coordination drawings and 3D renders.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of hands-on interior architecture experience, a B.Arch or related qualification, and strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and V-Ray.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in interior architecture or spatial design.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a relevant Interior Design qualification.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray).
• Strong spatial awareness, technical detailing capability and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of producing comprehensive working drawing sets (GFCs) with high accuracy and precise dimensions for flawless site execution.
• Draft detailed architectural and interior drawings: floor plans, sectionals, elevations, ceiling/lighting layouts, and custom millwork detailing.
• Develop complete MEP coordination drawings.
• Create 3D models and high-quality renders to help clients visualize spaces.
• Integrate Vastu guidelines into building layouts to meet client demands.
• Coordinate with site contractors and vendors to ensure drawings are executed as designed.

• Take complete ownership of producing comprehensive working drawing sets (GFCs), ensuring high accuracy and strict dimensioning for flawless site execution.
• Draft highly detailed architectural and interior drawings, including floor plans, sectionals, interior elevations, ceiling/lighting layouts, and custom furniture/millwork detailing.
• Develop complete MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) coordination drawings.
• Develop initial architectural and interior design concepts from client briefings.
• Create 3D models and high-quality renders to help clients visualize spaces.
• Integrate specific spatial principles, including Vastu guidelines, into building layouts to meet client demands.
• Coordinate effectively with site contractors and material vendors to ensure the working drawings are executed exactly as designed.

Preferred candidate profile
