Role Description

The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed layouts, and coordinating all interior elements for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, preparing construction drawings, and collaborating with architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained. The role involves creating mood boards, specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and participating in client meetings to understand requirements and present design proposals. The Interior Designer will also support project documentation, site visits, and quality checks during execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetic layouts.
• Working knowledge of Architecture and coordination with architectural teams for integrated design solutions.
• Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for site execution.
• Experience in selecting and specifying FF&E, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic presentation tools.
• Strong visualization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and on-site teams.
