Job summary

PS Enliven Studio in Chandigarh is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to develop concepts and detailed layouts for residential and commercial spaces. You will plan spaces, select materials, finishes, and FF&E, and prepare drawings, presentations, and mood boards.

You will coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to maintain design intent through execution, conduct site visits, monitor progress, and support timelines and budgets while engaging clients to capture feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong space planning and interior design skills for residential and commercial projects.
• Basic understanding of building design, codes, and coordination with structural/MEP teams.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing construction drawings and technical details for on-site execution.
• FF&E expertise including furniture selection, fixtures and finishes.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit.
• Strong visual communication with 2D/3D presentations and renderings.
• Good project coordination, time management and stakeholder communication.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture; prior studio or site experience preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chandigarh. The Interior Designer will develop concepts and detailed interior layouts for residential and commercial projects, including planning spaces, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves preparing drawings, presentations, and mood boards, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The Interior Designer will conduct site visits, monitor progress, address design-related issues, and support project timelines and budgets. The position also includes client interaction to understand requirements, present design options, and incorporate feedback into final solutions.
