Job summary

The Room in Chennai invites an experienced Senior Interior Designer to shape residential and commercial spaces. You will develop creative concepts, mood boards, 2D drawings, and 3D renders for luxury projects.

The ideal candidate has 15 years in interior design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or similar tools, with a track record delivering turnkey interiors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in interior design in a design company or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and turnkey interior projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or similar software.
• Hands-on experience in 3D modelling, concept rendering, photorealistic rendering, and 3D visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects based on client requirements.
• Create mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
• Prepare 2D drawings, furniture layouts, and space planning for interiors.
• Develop detailed 3D interior design models for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and complete home interiors.
• Create high-quality 3D renders and photorealistic visualizations.
• Handle rendering, textures, lighting, furniture detailing, and render extraction.
• Produce professional 3D renders and walkthroughs for client presentations.
• Work on residential, luxury, modern, and contemporary interior design concepts.
• Modify concepts, models, and renders based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the interior design team to meet project specifications.

• Develop detailed 3D interior design models for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, modular kitchens, and complete home interiors.
• Create high-quality 3D interior design renders and photorealistic visualizations.
• Handle interior design concept rendering, material textures, lighting, furniture detailing, and realistic render extraction.
• Produce professional 3D renders and interior design walkthroughs for client presentations.
• Work on residential interior design, luxury interiors, modern interiors, and contemporary interior design concepts.
• Modify interior design concepts, 3D models, and renders based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the interior design team to ensure design concepts and visualizations meet project specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• 15 years of experience in an interior design company or interior design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of residential interior design, commercial interior design, and turnkey interior projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or similar interior design software.
• Hands-on experience in 3D interior modelling, concept rendering, photorealistic rendering, and 3D visualization.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, lighting, furniture design, and space planning.
• Ability to develop interior design concepts and convert them into realistic 3D renders.
• A portfolio showcasing residential interior design projects, commercial interiors, and 3D renders is preferred.
