Job summary

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work on full-time, on-site projects at the Ahmedabad studio, collaborating closely with architects and project stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior design concepts, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E specifications to align with project requirements. The role involves space planning, creating detailed drawings, assisting with construction documentation, and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design ideas, incorporate feedback, and support site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues. The position requires consistent coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan functional layouts and optimize Space Planning for various project types.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination between architectural and interior design elements.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related documentation.
• Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and detailing.
• Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in an architectural or design firm is beneficial.
