Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from initial concept to completion for residential and commercial clients. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and ensuring that designs align with client requirements, budgets, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating mood boards and material palettes, collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality. The role also includes guiding junior team members, presenting design proposals to clients, and ensuring that all work adheres to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and FF&E skills, including concept development, material selection, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment specification.


• Candidates should possess Space Planning skills, with the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.


• Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills, including understanding of building systems, structural coordination, and design integration.


• Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills, including preparation and review of detailed plans, elevations, and technical documentation.


• Relevant skills such as project management, vendor coordination, and site supervision are beneficial.


• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is preferred.


• Strong communication, client presentation, and stakeholder management abilities are required.


• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and several years of experience in leading interior design projects are highly desirable.
