Job summary

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Surat. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and refining space plans in alignment with project requirements and brand standards. Daily tasks include coordinating with architects and builders, creating detailed drawings and specifications, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing mood boards and material palettes. The role involves site visits, measurements, and supervision of installation to ensure design intent is maintained and timelines are met. The Interior Designer will also participate in client presentations, incorporate feedback, and collaborate closely with project teams to deliver coherent, high-quality interiors.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
• Candidates should possess Space Planning expertise to optimize layouts, circulation, and functionality across residential and/or commercial projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections for coordination with project teams.
• Candidates should possess FF&E knowledge for selecting appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment, as well as materials and finishes.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and on-site teams.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior
