Role Description The Interior Design Intern role at VIMA STUDIO is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Gurugram. The intern supports the design team with space planning, concept development, material and furniture selection, and preparation of presentations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assisting with drawings and layouts, sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), creating mood boards, and organizing project documentation. The intern may participate in client meetings, site visits, and coordination with vendors to help ensure design intent is met. This role provides hands‑on exposure to the full interior design process and opportunities to learn from experienced designers in a studio environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess interior design and space planning skills, with an understanding of how to organize functional and aesthetic layouts.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of furniture and FF&E, including selection, specification, and integration into design concepts.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic graphic tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, time management skills, and the ability to work on‑site in Gurugram on a full‑time schedule are required.
