Role Description

The Interior Design Intern role at Sttellar Spacess is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The intern will support the design team with space planning, concept development, and layout drawings for residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include assisting with material and furniture selection, preparing mood boards, organizing FF&E schedules, and helping maintain project documentation. The intern will also contribute to 3D visualizations, attend site visits as needed, coordinate with vendors under guidance, and participate in client presentations and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design principles, including concept development and design detailing.
• Ability to assist with Space Planning, layout creation, and optimization of functional circulation.
• Knowledge of Furniture design and selection, as well as FF&E (fixtures, fittings, and equipment) coordination.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, vendors, and clients.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or similar), basic 3D rendering skills and MS Office.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work on-site in Mumbai on a full-time schedule.
• Understanding of materials, finishes, and basic project documentation is an advantage.
