Qualifications

• Experience in design or development in at least one domain area related to Interior Trims or NVH parts.
• Hands-on experience in part and vehicle level testing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and costing functions.

Responsibilities

• Design & development of trims and airbags as per program schedule.
• Conduct parts and vehicle level testing.
• Perform regulation checks, specifically flammability and ECE-R21.

Job description

• Design & Development of Interior Trims, Roof lining, Luggage area trims
• Design & Development of Curtain Airbag, Passenger Airbags
• Design and development of NVH parts
• Parts & Vehicle level testing

Responsibilities

• Design & Development of Interior Trims, Roof area, Airbags, & NVH Parts as per program schedule.
• Parts & Vehicle level testing as per program schedule.
• Regulation Checks, Specifically Flammability and ECE-R21
• Cost & Weight monitoring at Part & Sub-System level.
• Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on Design/Quality Reviews, Line Feedback & Testing.
• Coordination with business partners for development of parts.

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional

• Experience of Design or Development in at-least one domain areas in any of the following:
  • Interior Trims Parts & Luggage area trims
  • Interior Roof lining and peripheral parts
  • NVH Parts
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes and Costing Functions.
• Hands on experience in testing at part & vehicle level.

Behavioral

• Effective team player
• Good communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Study industry trends (global and domestic) and apply it in work-area

Specific expertise required for functional area

• Hands on experience on CAD Modeling software, preferably Unigraphics. It is preferred to have a high skill and speed inmaking 3D CAD data from skin skincare.
