Job summary

Hinduja Tech in India is seeking an experienced Product Design engineer to contribute to automotive cockpit components such as door trim, console, and instrument panels. The role requires strong CAD skills and experience in local development programs.

You will design at component and system levels, assess manufacturing feasibility, and support DVP&R and DFMEA processes to ensure robust, production-ready parts.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of product design and development in automotive cockpit components.
• Experience on local development programs.
• Proficient in component and system level design.
• Strong CAD modeling skills in a product development setup.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
• Experience with DVP&R and DFMEA.
• Familiarity with plastic molding, welding, and sheet metal processes.

Job description

• 6 to 8 years of Product Design & development experience in automotive Cockpit Components (Door Trim, Console, Instrument Panel etc.)
• Must have worked on local development programs.
• Working experience in Component & System level designing.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling within a product development environment

• Good Knowledge in Manufacturing & Assembly feasibility study.
  • Experience in constructing component and full vehicle DVP&R and DFMEA
  • Knowledge on plastic molding/Welding and sheet metal process.
