Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Insurance Surveyor – Fire & Engineering, Misc. located in Delhi, India. The Insurance Surveyor will conduct site inspections for fire and engineering risks, assess damages, and document findings in detailed survey and loss assessment reports. Responsibilities include reviewing policy terms, verifying claim details, collecting evidence, and performing technical analysis of fire incidents and engineering-related failures. The role involves coordinating with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to clarify facts, obtain necessary documentation, and support fair claim resolution. The Insurance Surveyor will also ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records and timelines for each case.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Fire Safety knowledge to assess risks and damages accurately.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate technical information, quantify losses, and prepare structured reports.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders clearly and professionally.
• Candidates should possess awareness of Legionella and related risk factors, especially in engineering and facility assessments.
• Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, risk management, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in insurance surveying, loss assessment, fire risk assessment, or engineering inspection will be an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to client locations, and manage multiple cases within defined timelines.
• Proficiency in report writing, use of standard office software, and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
