Job summary

Agp International Services in India seeks an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instruments across heavy industries. You will troubleshoot transmitters (pressure, temperature, level and flow), read P&ID, loop and isometric diagrams, and support PLC/DCS systems and control panels.

Prior Oil & Gas or petrochemical exposure is preferred. The ideal candidate has ITI in Electrical Instrument Engineering and 5–10 years in oil, gas, refinery or related

Qualifications

  • ITI Diploma in Electrical Instrument Engineering is required.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial instruments and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instruments.
  • Troubleshoot pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters.
  • Work with PLC DCS systems and control panels.
  • Read P&ID, loop, and isometric diagrams.
  • Oil & Gas Petrochemical Power Plant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.

Role & responsibilities


  • Installation, calibration, and maintenance of industrial instruments.

  • Troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, level & flow transmitters.

  • Experience in PLC DCS systems and control panels.

  • Ability to read P&ID , loop , Isometric diagrams.

  • Experience in Oil & Gas Petrochemical Power Plant preferred.

  • Knowledge of instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.


Preferred candidate profile


  • Qualification: ITI Diploma in Electrical Instrument Engineering.

  • Experience: 5-10 years in Oil & Gas, Refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry.

  • Experience working in Oil and Gas Sector.

  • Knowledge of hazardous area equipment (ATEX IECEx) preferred.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
