Job summary

HL Agro is seeking an instrumentation technician to install, calibrate, and configure field instruments such as pressure, flow, temperature, and level sensors. The role includes diagnosing faults in control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA) and performing loop checks during commissioning to ensure accuracy and performance.

You will collaborate with engineers and operators to resolve discrepancies and support shutdown activities.

Qualifications

• Install, calibrate, and configure field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors).
• Diagnose sensor faults and instrument issues across DCS/PLC/SCADA systems.
• Evaluate sensor/output discrepancies and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Install measuring and control devices (like pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors).
• Diagnose and repair faulty instruments and control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA).
• Perform loop checking during project commissioning to verify system accuracy and performance.
• Knowledge of control valve, pressure transmitter,Flow transmitter, control valve
• Pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, temperature RTD, PH metre, weigh machine.
• Pressure switch and level switch photoelectric sensor.

Technical Skills:

• Install, calibrate, and configure field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors, etc.)
• Ensure instruments comply with regulatory and industry standards.
• Assist in shutdown and turnaround activities.

Soft & Personal Skills:

• Effective coordination with engineers, supervisors, and operators.
• Ability to handle different instruments, systems, or environments (DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc.).
• Evaluating sensor/output discrepancies and identifying root causes.
