Job summary

I-CAP Automation in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks an instrumentation professional to prepare datasheets for PT, DPT, DPFT, FT, Gauges, TT, Valves and RTD; select instrument types from process parameters; ensure compliance with specifications, IP codes and temperature classifications; review cable schedules and erection hardware documents.

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparation of Datasheets for PT, DPT, DPFT, FT, Gauges, TT, Valves, Switches, RTD, Strainer.
2. Selection of suitable instrument type and models based on process parameter.
3. Aware about instrument specification, International standard, IP codes, Temperature classification.
4. Experience on Cable schedule, JB schedule, ferruling, Hookup drawing, Erection hardware documents
5. Knowledge about Area Of Classification, Hazardous and Non Hazardous

Preferred candidate profile

1. Process Understanding: Reviewing and updating P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and cause-and-effect matrices.
2. Design Basis: Defining instrument design criteria, control philosophies, and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments.
3. Sizing & Selection: Performing calculations for control valves, relief valves, and flow elements using industry standards (ISA, IEC
4. Layouts: Planning instrument cable trays, junction box locations, and control room layouts.
5. Deliverables: Creating instrument index, data sheets, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and Material Take-Offs (MTO)
