Job summary

Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) seeks a senior instrumentation engineering specialist to guide FEED and detail design for oil & gas projects. The role involves advising on instrumentation deliverables, modeling in AVEVA E3D / PDMS, and coordinating with vendors and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidate has 15+ years in oil & gas instrumentation, proven leadership as Lead/Deputy Lead Engineer, and a track record of delivering compliant, high-quality drawings and specs across major projects in India.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
• Preparation and review of Specifications, Datasheets, MRs, TBEs, and Vendor Drawings.
• Expertise in Field Instruments, Instrument Valves, and Fire & Gas Detection Systems.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D / PDMS for instrument modeling reviews.
• Review and approval of instrumentation deliverables including Cable Trench Layouts, Instrument Location Layouts, Hook-up Drawings, Cable Block Diagrams, and Cable Schedules.
• Experience leading instrumentation engineering activities as Lead / Deputy Lead Engineer on Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a technical specialist with decision-making authority impacting major engineering activities.
• Leads instrumentation engineering tasks and interfaces with top-level engineers and officers.
